My Story
I believe life is not defined by where you start, but by what you choose to do with what you've been through.
I’m Emmanuel Olowookere — founder, builder, investor, entrepreneur and mentor. My journey has taken me from some of life’s most difficult circumstances to building businesses, investing and helping others create better futures for themselves.
But it didn’t start that way.
I was raised in foster care, experienced homelessness, spent time on the streets of London and served time in prison. I was also diagnosed with dyslexia and grew up understanding, from an early age, that life doesn’t always begin on equal footing.
For a long time, circumstances could have defined my story.
Instead, I decided to rewrite it.
Those experiences taught me lessons no classroom could have taught me. They taught me resilience when things go wrong, discipline when motivation disappears, and the importance of taking responsibility for the direction of my life. Most importantly, they taught me that a setback does not have to be the end of the story. Sometimes, it is the beginning of something greater.
That mindset became the foundation for everything I have built since.
Today, I am the Founder and CEO of The Rock Group, a London-based investment and acquisition platform focused on acquiring, integrating and scaling property-related businesses while investing in income-producing residential assets across the UK and UAE.
But The Rock Group is only one part of the journey.
Through Scale Value Partners, I help business owners increase enterprise value through strategy, systems and AI. Through Manni Fit, I am building a premium men’s fitness and lifestyle brand around a simple belief: Strength is a Lifestyle. Through Afrique Assets, I connect global investors with opportunities across Africa. And through The Builder’s Journal, I share ideas around mindset, entrepreneurship and fitness for people committed to building better lives and businesses.
Although these ventures operate in different spaces, they are connected by one belief:
Strong businesses, strong bodies and strong character are built in much the same way — through discipline, consistency and long-term thinking.
My passion today is entrepreneurship, investment, real estate, AI innovation, diversity and sustainability. But beyond the businesses and investments, I care about people.
I use the lessons from both my successes and failures to help others think bigger, lead differently and build with purpose.
My family, my daughter and the youth charities I support are a constant source of motivation. They remind me that success is not simply about what you accumulate. It is also about what you contribute, who you help and the legacy you leave behind.At the centre of my life is my relationship with God. My faith guides my decisions, strengthens me through challenges and reminds me that every opportunity, achievement and blessing is ultimately a gift from Him. I give all glory to God for how far I have come and for everything I hope to accomplish in the future.
That is why I mentor entrepreneurs and business owners. I help people and businesses bounce back when things go wrong, grow smarter when opportunities appear and lead boldly when the path ahead is uncertain.
I know what it feels like to start with very little.
I also know what is possible when you refuse to let your circumstances write the final chapter.
Today, my mission is simple: to help build stronger minds, stronger businesses and stronger bodies — and to inspire others to believe that their best chapter may still be ahead of them.
Because setbacks can become setups for comebacks.
And no matter how difficult the beginning may be, there is always an opportunity to change the ending.
